This is the best Dick Francis novel I've read. I like it so well that instead of immediately reposting it, I'll hold onto it and read it again later. Flying Finish combines horse racing, air-transport of racehorses and brood mares, general aviation flying, and a love story. And Francis apparently writes about all these things with the knowledge of personal experience. I used to be a private pilot, and I enjoyed learning some of the jargon of Brittish general aviation.
