This book is very short, but excellent. It is about Francesca who thought that a week at a medieval fair outside London would help her get away from her store, Cinderella's Closet, memories of her exhusband, Geoffrey and everything. She rents a wench's dress, determines to have fun. Magic intervenes. She finds herself suddenly in another world, which looks a lot like the real medieval England, with superstitious villagers who can't figure out whether she is an angel or a witch. Braden Stuart-Ramsey, the Duke of Sunderlin makes it his mission to find out.
