The former Captain of the Seattle Chinooks Hockey Team is recovering from an accident that ended his career. Mark Bressler misses hockey and is depressed about not being with the team when they win the Stanley Cup. The Chinooks organization keeps sending nurses to help him out, but Mark wants nothing to do with them. Chelsea Ross is an out-of-work actress in desperate need of a job. When she is hired to be a Home Healthcare Assistant to Mark Bressler, she thinks it's the answer to her prayers. But Mark proves to be difficult with his bad moods and rotten attitude. Mark figures he can make her miserable enough to quit, but he doesn't know how stubborn Chelsea can be.

This is the 5th book in Rachel Gibson's Chinook Hockey series. It's a light contemporary romance with a lot of humor. I enjoyed the story and liked the characters. Since hockey is my favorite sport, I added an extra half a point to my rating: 4.5 Stars.
