I read two of the stories in this anthology:

UNSTOPPABLE by Laura Griffin. Navy Seal Gage Brewer was asked for a favor by his commanding officer, Joseph Quinn. Quinn needed someone to watch over his niece, Forensic Anthropologist Kelsey Quinn, who was in Texas near the Mexican border working on a dig. Kelsey is not happy when Gage shows up, so she puts him to work on the dig where he is soon getting under her skin. But when the dig uncovers a body in a new grave, Kelsey is glad to have Gage by her side. There is danger in this remote area of Texas and she might need a bodyguard.

Something is going on in the desert. Is it drug runners? Illegal aliens crossing the border?
The suspense portion of this story was interesting. The romance seemed rushed and I wasn't convinced at the end of the story that they would stay together. My rating: 3 Stars.

LEAVE NO TRACE by Cindy Gerard. Undercover CIA Agent Dave Cavanaugh receives a call from Wyatt Savage asking for his help. Wyatt's family friend, Carrie Granger, took a plane to Myanmar and disappeared off of the face of the earth. No one has heard from her since. Wyatt asks Cav to find her and bring her back to Georgia. It takes a couple of days, but Cav discovers that Carrie was arrested and sent to a work camp. The government denies ever having her. Cav must find a way into the camp and get Carrie out of there before she is killed.

This story featured two characters we've met in previous Black Ops, Inc. books. I liked both Cav and Carrie and I loved the setting in the jungles of Myanmar. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
