I was skeptical at first; but this is an awesome book. Aside from opening doors to look into life in the Great Depresssion and into life in a circus, it opened doors for me for a look into life as an elderly person.
This book will haunt me for many reasons; animal cruelty, aging, life in the Great Depression; it has it all.
