Storyline was OK definitely some food for thought in the words that Atwood writes. I would catch myself thinking about them after listening in the car ride home as I was cooking dinner or doing other daily routines, often thinking about what if all this disappeared one day. Would I be able to survive? One main peeve I did not like about this audio version was the singing after Adam Ones sermons. Think I listened to one song, skipped all the rest, about a dozen in all. I did like the fact that they used different women to read the parts of Toby and Ren. Made it easier to remember whose point of view we were listening to. Thought the blue people were strange, with their waving appendages, and thought the ending was a little abrupt. Ive read this is a parallel story to Atwoods Oryx and Crake. Maybe one day if I think about it Ill listen to this one and it will have more answers, but I doubt Ill be that interested.
