Unlike annoying self help books that throw jargon, sappy rhetoric, and uselss mumbo jumbo/ pity parties, this author uses humor and real life examples (letters from readers/individuals) to prove his point. It may be a little redundant at times, but for the girl in denial, sometimes redundant is what is necessary. While you won't find any deep psychological explanations or the answers to love, you will get a laugh, and you will learn if "he's just not into you".

I was in a relationship with a seemingly great "poor me" type of guy who wouldn't say the "L" word because his heart had been broken. So a friend gave me this book and of course there is a chapter in there about guys who can't say the L word...."BECAUSE THEY'RE JUST NOT INTO YOU", it hit home and was pretty precise. I kicked myself in the butt and then kicked his out the door :).

The book features funny stories about other girls with relationship issues who are just making excuses for the guy and in denial about things, and how the right guy is out there but you won't find him if your still wasting time on the wrong one. All in all this is a great book to subtly give to your girlfriends and daughters in bad relationships. It is so funny, that a friend won't stay mad for long :)
