This is book 3 of the Brotherhood of War series. An excellent series that follows a few characters throughout their miltary careers. The Majors gives you a glimpse into a soldiers life and a good understanding of military history. I'm definatley not a history buff or particularly interested in military history but this series caught my attention and kept me intrested all the way from the Lieutenants through the Generals! A very entertaining and informative series starting from then end of of WWI (The Lieutenants) in 1943 and coming up to more recent history (The Generals). A great series - much, much better than the "New Breed" series by the same author...
