From the Los Angelos Times: "A 'must read' for anyone who has lived and loved."
This was a really good romance. I'm not so good at reviews, so I will quote from the book's summary.
"The wedding of Catherine Anderson to wealthy Clay Forrester is the social event of the season. But everything abou tit, from the formal vows to the magnificent reception, is a lie. Catherine, a college student from a poor and troubled family, is pregnant after a blind date with Clay, a wealthy law student. And it with great reluctance that she agrees to his offer of a 'marriage of convenience.'
Catherine and Clay plan to divorce after the baby arives. They move into a lovely home and settle into an acceptable routine, until Clay announces that he no longer wants seperate beds. When Catherine reminds him of their arrangement, Clay angrily begins seeing his high society ex-girlfriend. It's not until after their daugher is born and divorce papers are filed that Catherine finds herself falling in love with Clay, wondering if it is too late to actually be more than his wife in name only."
