Some of the history of the Arab people is glossed over. I'll confess, I had expected to be able to read this book and find out why, within three years of the spread of Islam to other neighboring states (by invasion)in its beginnings, Islam is considered to be a peaceful religion. Instead, the book reiterates the fact that Muslims don't even agree with each other. The history aspect is probably accurate. But I would use caution in accepting all statements at face value.
