This is the first I have "read" of Catherine Coulter and I enjoyed all three books in the set. They were very engaging and kept me entertained during the many hours I spend in the car. The only thing that didn't thrill me is that the husbands usually end up raping their wives on their wedding night. I don't understand why the first sex scenes in Ms. Coulter's books are so rough...especially in the Heiress Bride (I think he forces her like 2 or 3 times in a row!). I can't believe that the hero would totally lose control like that. I just think it's too extreme. Especially when all the men are supposed to be extremely experienced in that department. The theme of forcing sex throughout the series isn't something that appeals to me. If you remove that, the books are great.
