I enjoyed most of the writing in this book. A couple of the writers I just couldn't 'connect' with, but that's ok with an anthology. And actually I enjoyed reading the 'Notes About Racism In The Process' which is actually in the beginning of the book and not one of the short stories. I appreciated the candor of the women in explaining themselves and how they came to certain realizations.
I certainly enjoyed reading stories from a Lesbian perspective and some of these writers, while I have never heard of them before are very good. :-)
