The hero and heroine are in laws. The hero was married to the heroine's older sister. The sister died in a fire while the hero was in Europe on a concert tour. The hero has still not recovered from his wife's and unborn child's death. The heroine has a relationship that has gone sour and retreats to the hero's home to get over the betrayal. I liked both characters but I felt that the hero was comparing the heroine to his late wife. He mentions that the heroine sounds, and looks like his wife which was a little icky from my point of view. I just could not see these two people together because of the ick factor. I wish the author had not made the heroine his sister-in-law. I usually love Charlene Sands' books but this one just did not work for me.
