Security Specialist Sean Rogan knew his past would eventually catch up with him. Now he must choose between going undercover to help the FBI or go to prison. It's an easy choice. His FBI contact is Agent Noah Armstrong. Noah works with Sean's girlfriend, Lucy Kincaid, but neither of them can tell her what is going on. To go undercover, Sean accepts a job from his old college buddy, Colton. This job entails breaking into a building with high security and stealing an item. Sean digs to find out what building and what item; but Colton is keeping the information to himself until they're ready to go forward with their plan. As the undercover operation goes from days to weeks, Sean finds himself and his family in dangerous situations.

The sixth installment in the Lucy Kincaid series is mostly about Sean. It's my favorite in the series so far. The FBI is looking into Senator Jonathan Paxton. They know he hired Colton and his team to steal something. They're hoping their inside man, Sean, can find out what exactly is going on and get evidence against Senator Paxton. The plot has a lot of twists and turns. I was never sure who was leaking information to Senator Paxton until the end of the book.

So many characters from past books...Duke Rogan, Suzanne Madeaux, Rick Stockton, and Jack Kincaid, play a part in this story. It can be read as a standalone, but your experience will be much richer if you read Allison Brennan's previous books. My rating: 5 Stars.
