The book was written far too early in Lindros' life. Looking back on one's Junior career does not really provide introspection into a player's career. It could have benefitted from waiting a few years - the stormy departure from Philadelphia could have certainly taken a chapter by itself! And post-career, with his union work at a controversial time in that organization ...

As a result, too much of the text was devoted to various people stating that "Eric acted like just a regular guy, not some star" - yeah, we get it. BUT, without it, we probably would have had a pamphlet instead of a Mass Market Paperback.

Still, I didn't feel I wasted my time reading the book - I just didn't feel full after I left the table.
