I'm so glad I read Jaime's story first because if I read this one first I wouldn't have never continued with the series. I didn't like any of the characters here (odd because I liked them in Jaime's book). They were all hypocrites and annoying at that.

Tessa gets on Luke's (the love interest) case for keeping things from her but she does that to everyone, plus she lies a lot and acts like a 7 year old. If you want to be treated like a big girl than put on your big girl pants and don't try to hide your boyfriends or pretty much everything from your brothers / business partners.

Jaime (Tessa's brother) gets on Luke for his past playboy action yet he is upset because his brother and everyone else judges him unfairly.

Eric (Tessa's brother) gets mad at Tessa for making business deals without him but he does that to them all the time.

Luke gets on Tessa's case for not opening up and trying to make him open up.

Well, the list goes on. There was nothing endearing about these people and it was painful to finish the book. I really didn't care what happened to anyone. I forced myself to finish it because I had liked Jaime's book and was planning to read Eric's. Now I'm not so sure.
