Contemporary Thriller, by Lee Child, and the 12th tale about former MP, lone wanderer, Jack Reacher. Reacher stops in the town of Despair for a meal and cup of coffee, and is promptly escorted out of town, with prejudice. Left at the border between the towns of Hope and Despair, Reacher gets curious about what is going in, in Despair. So the tale begins. Good story.
