Helpful Score: 4
I kind of thought this was going to be a cheezy romance novel, and I was out of new books one night. It took a chapter or two to actually "get into" the story, but by the third chapter I wanted to find out what happens next. This is the story of a young, and of course beautiful California attorney in 1996 who takes off for a couple days to clear her head. Only to find herself in the Mountains with a head injury, stuck in a late spring snow storm and rescued by a "Grizzly Adams" type of guy where she spends a week trapped in his cabin. It is only after the weather brakes and they go into town, that she discovers, she has somehow been transported to the 1890's over one hundred years ago. Love Story, Romance which I'm not usually into, but I did like these characters. I'm looking forward to more time travel romances.
