This book was okay. It started out really well, and both lead characters came across as strong and vibrant people. However, very soon, Hawk started to lose his appeal. He was almost childish in his avoidance of his responsibilities. Not to mention the hypocrisy of some of his actions when dealing with his teenage daughter. I found it hard to believe he couldn't understand why his daughter did not choose to remain chaste when he himself had never chosen that option for himself.
