Not an avid reader of romance, I first read this author because I learned "she" was actually a man and I wondered how a romance written by a man would differ from the few I've read by women. The setting is good, in Australia. The heroine is editor of a small weekly newspaper in a small town. Her love interest is an author who writes a column for the paper. He is not as likable as most men in romance novels. I actually felt a bit sorry for the young woman who was "hooked" on him because he was going to have to change for the better if he made a good husband. It was a fun read, though.
