This is an excellent book on grilling with great descriptions on how to make it as well as awesome pictures to assist you. Recipes for a wide variety of foods. It even includes marinades, brines, rubs, and sauces. There is also a chapter on smoking which shows how to experience true barbecue in your own backyard.
