The theory behind this book is excellent, but I found that the menus weren't ones that really fit my families likes and dislikes. I found that the way this book was set up made it difficult to substitute in different things that we would prefer. However, I gave the book as many stars as I did because there is a section in the back that gives tons of useful information on creating your own once-a-month cooking plan. That section alone made me SO glad I got a chance to look at this book! I haven't had much chance to play with my own menu selections, but I imagine in the future, we'll be having lots of freezer fun because of it.
