As always, Jodi Picoult does a great job with the development of her characters. Although not my favorite of her books, it is still a page turner . Just like her other books, the author forces the reader to look at the situation at hand from various viewpoints. I found myself rooting for someone I would not have if the situation were real to me. This book is a love story not only between two young people, but also between their families. A good mystery is mixed in too not unlike her other books.
