Good intentions are all over this book, at least the chapter and a half that I got through, but it reminds me very much of the "seminar attitude" that seems common to certain successful religious males: "If I get my five-point plan lined up, then life wife and kids will all cooperate." Life isn't like that. Things happen that blow your best laid plans out of the water, make nonsense of your neat little life direction statements, break your heart, and change you. No formula is going to protect you from that.

Also annoying was the constant use of "when I (Dave)" and "when I (Charles)"... Surely there is a less confusing way to write a book cooperatively.
