Jennifer Weiner's latest novel tells the story of three different women as they navigate the joys and trials of new motherhood. Becky, is a plump, sexy chef who has a wonderful husband and baby girl, an acclaimed restaurant and the mother-in-law from hell. Kelly is an event planner who's struggling to balance work and motherhood while dealing with an unemployed husband who is content to channel surf for 8 hours a day. Ayinde's basketball superstar husband puts the new family in jeopardy with a well publicized affair. Then there's Liz, a Philadelphia native who has left her Hollywood career behind, along with her husband, and a tragic secret, to start her life over. As the women's lives intertwine the story unfolds.
