This life changed my life for the better - helping me in my personal relationships. The focus is on improving the quality of any relationship - even the briefest of encounters. In a society which most values long-term family relationships, discovering and creating satisfaction in all our personal connections, no matter how transient, can take the pressure off our most significant relationships to meet all our needs. Particularly helpful in this book is its guidelines deepening communication with others and developing our more supportive network.
