This book started out, good and full of promise, It bogs down, several times. The main character, Julia is constantly on the go, trying to figure out who did what, and when and why. I found her two oldest children, college and high school age, to be complete brats, to be honest. The third child, is only mentioned time to time, as he is at boarding school. His character adds nothing to the story. I enjoyed The Emperor of Ocean Park more.
