Colonel George Custard thinks Magdalena's hometown of Hernia, Pennsylvania, is perfect for his new mega five-star hotel. But some fear it will destroy the town's quaint and quiet ambience. Several vocal citizens, including Magdalena, protest the project. Soon after, the colonel is found shot to death at the PennDutch Inn. I loved this book....the first mystery that I read and laughed all the way through it. I want to read every one of her books.
