I bought this book at a garage sale so am glad I only paid $.25 for it. I've never read anything by this author before. There were a lot of twists and turns with respect to the murders so it kept one reading. However, the ending re what was causing the murders was really a disappointment and very implausible. Without giving too much away, there were multiple murderers and different methods of killing people that simply weren't believable. A young girl named Jerry was one of the key characters who apparently had some problems in her past. The cause of the problems was revealed at the end of the book and really didn't add anything to the story. Although Jerry became involved in the investigation because two of the murders happened at the hotel where she worked, her character was more of a distraction. I found this book disappointing and wouldn't recommend it.
