It's a Victoria Laurie book, so you know it'll be good no matter what. However, I must say that this was not one of my faves of hers. I liked the backstory and the Widow's attacks and also the fact that there was a human murdered on the loose as well, but I felt the story was drawn out a bit too long and that the book could have been shorter with some parts deleted that didn't need to be in there. The most annoying part (and I think I might have said this in my review of her previous Ghost Hunter book) is the character of Gilley. OMG, he was SO enough to make me skip pages where he was whining/complaining/screaming. I really hope that this character improves in the next titles.
