It was surprising to learn that these Indian reptiles are related to (but aren't really) crocodiles and alligators. We can recognize that they are different because they have long snouts with interlocking teeth. They are freshwater reptiles that live in rivers. These are exciting reptiles to watch but aren't suitable as pets.
