Rachel has to face her deal with Al. A new witch hits town to take over Piscary's business. And to put a crimp on Trent's illegal business as well. Love the new characters of Ceri and David. Trent discloses more information about his business, elves and her father's death. Jenks gets POed and moves out, leaving everyone sad and missing something.

I loved how this book worked hard to build the relationship dynamics of the family who Rachel is slowly building around her.
