Adorable story! If you are a pet lover you will really enjoy this story. I found it extremely humorous! The story is set in South Florida and is about a couple who decide to get a dog to see if they are ready for parenting. The premise of the story is that if they can take care of a dog it will be good preparation for caring for children. Marley, the dog, is a "wild child" and the story revolves around the day to day antics of Marley and his relationship with the couple. The story is light and easy reading.
