This was the first Johanna Lindsey book I read and I was hooked to the Malory family. Captain James Malory is the quintessential male lead role/hero. Every man should be like him...tough on the outside and soft on the inside...He is a man who can take care of business and love his family with a passion like no other. Georgina Anderson is our female lead/love interest to James...and what a pair they make. They first run into each other in a previous book named, "Tender Rebel" (#2 in the Malory Family series)and James tries to find her after she kicks him in the shins and dashes away. Only later hiring her on as his cabin boy, knowing all the while who she really is and here she is thinking she is disguised so well. Once desire strikes their blood... full sails ahead. I most definitely recommend this book--read and be swept into the passion of James and Georgina's love story.
