Waterman Ethan Quinn always felt a close connection to the sea and his family. When Ray and Stella Quinn adopted him, they saved both his life and sanity. Ethan and his brothers Cameron and Phillip will so anything to fulfill Rays last wishes. Ten-year-old Seth DeLauter is the final young boy to be rescued by Ray. Before his unexpected death, Ray had started adoption proceedings. Oldest brother Cameron discovered the love of his life, Anna, while fighting the Social Services System for Seth. With Cameron and Anna on their honeymoon, Ethan is left minding Seth. Luckily for both brothers, they also have the assistance of Grace Monroe.

As a single mom raising a two-year-old, Grace accepts work wherever she can. Cleaning up after the Quinn brothers is a job she both loves and dreads. For years Grace secretly loved the reserved Ethan. She has little hope that he will ever notice her. Abused as a child, Ethan plans to never marry or have children. But Graces beauty and kindness challenge his vow. As outside forces threaten what the Quinns hold dear, Ethan and Grace must face their pasts before building a new future.

The second novel in the Quinn brothers trilogy continues to develop the characters and relationships that make these books so appealing. When it comes to riveting characterizations, its tough to match Ms. Roberts skill.
