I have mixed feelings about this book...I absolutely love the rest of the Cattle Valley series and really enjoyed reading about more of the characters in town and seeing them interact with my favorites from other books. However, I found myself a little jarred by the differences in writing styles between Ms Byrnes and Carol Lynne (the author of the rest of the series). This was also the first f/f book I have read and I discovered that it might not be the genre for me.
On the plus side, the characters are well-developed and their relationships are believable and touching. An ok book for me, but not a keeper.
