From the back cover:

Annik Miller is trapped. A man she once spurned, Gibson Spenser, has become her bitter enemy. He calls her endlessly, follows her everywhere, even threatens her. Annik fears that there is no escape...until she inherits a wilderness cabin in Maine. She flees there, hoping that at last she'll be safe.
But one night Annik wakes up to see a masked man...a shadowy form that could be Gibson. Then a horrific nighttime attack tells Annik that she is still in grave peril. For a lovesick madman stalks her...a man who would like nothing better than to wrest every last bit of happiness from her life - just before he ends it.
I liked enough to read it twice.
