This was an damning critique of British foreign policy spanning the period of 1914 - 1945 and a thought provoking examination of how both world wars were truly unnecessary wars that could have been prevented - thus saving the lives of millions of people and preventing the destruction of the West's dominance in the world. As always with Mr. Buchanan's books, an engrossing read. it will really change the way you think about the two greatest wars of the 20th Century. It will also challege the public image of Winston Churchill - a man who deserves much of the blame for these wars. Highly recommended!
