Very disappointed. Too much of a continuation of the first book. The second in a series shouldn't be a carbon copy of the first. I was so disappointed that Eric Wilson couldn't leave the story with Aramis' Mother alone. Everyone may not feel the same way on that one, but for me the first book ended her story just fine.

There was just something lacking in this book, it couldn't stand alone, had no bones to it. I love the character Aramis and am disappointed that Mr. Wilson couldn't develop him beyond the story lines of the gold and his mother from the first book.
