This is one of my guilty pleasure books. I can read this over and over again and still enjoy it.
Gregory gives you a good story wrapped around true events in Henry VIII's England. It depicts the fickleness of the court and the lasvisiousness exactly as I had imagined and read of. You follow Mary through her two marriages and really start to feel for her and the decisions that she has to take.
Gregory is a little too descriptive sometimes, so it is much longer than need be. Overall, one of my favorite books and one I'd happily recommend to any Historical Fiction fans!
