A friend gave me this book after she bought and read it and had heard the rave reviews. Maybe it was one of those, "so much hype that your expectations are too high" kind of books. It took FOR-EV-ER to get through the first hundred or so pages. Then it finally picks up and gets moving. The story in general is very good. Very interesting. As far as it being a "Sexy, addictive thriller" as the back proclaims...I found the book to be pretty UNsexy. I did read the second one and am now waiting to get the third from the library. It was a good book, interesting to read...the second was better and significantly faster to get through...but as far as this being the most addictive or sexy book out there...I find the most typical John Grisham books are as addictive and like I said about the sexy part...I really do not see it.
