Oh my God.
That was all I could think after finishing Faefever. Not to give anything away but that is some hell of a cliffhanger!
I find it interesting when a writer tries a new genre because I feel they can bring something fresh to the table. While Moning is known for her HIghlander romances, I was eaqually drawn into the world she created here.
As you know this is a kind of spin off from her Highlander series. In spell of the highlander (#7) you learn the Seelie queen has been kidnapped by the Unseelie king. There is forshadowing throughout all of her Highlander books and Moning's Fever books are the repercussions of all the little things that are hinted about in her previous books. The world is falling apart and only a handfull of people even know about it.
In the third of the series is where it all comes to a head. Mac has had it coming from all sides for some time now and she has only been able to tread water. While the fourth book is going to be a long wait and so many things going wrong in the third I am almost inclined to tell you to wait and read the third closer to August. Like already stated, it might be easier to read them once they have all been released just so you won't have to endure the frustration us impatient folks are now going though! But timeline aside, yeah, you should totally read this.
