I really really enjoyed Showalter's intensity in this book. I liked Maddox's inner conflict, Ahslyn's quiet (sometimes not so quiet) determination. It is my first and if this book is any representation of what her writing is like I will be reading them ALL!!
I just read both Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series as well as J.R. Ward's Brotherhood series. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.
