Three mysteries: Margin of Error by Edna Buchanan, Dark Room by Minette Walters, and The Cereal Murders by Diane Mott Davidson.
Each of these were good in their own right. One features a caterer who gets involved in murder, one a reporter in Miami who does the crime beat, and the other one is features a woman who tries to commit suicide and then doesn't remember anything when she survives.
I thought The Dark Room the least interesting of the three, but it had it's moments. Diane Mott Davidson and Edna Buchanan always write an interesting mystery.
