First, I loved Heartsick.
The following year, Chelsea Cain blew me away with Sweetheart.

Now, there is Evil at Heart. Hmmmm.

After I read Sweetheart last year, the story haunted me for days and I couldn't get it out of my mind. Unfortunately, Evil at Heart was forgettable. The story just didn't suck me in like the previous books in this series.

I, of course, will definitely be looking forward to the 4th book in this series, but this installment was lacking so much. I can't say alot without giving anything away, but I was really disappointed in this one. I'm still glad I read it, but it was a let-down after her first two.
