Incredibly fun and page-turning mix of action, magic, found family and romance. Kate has the power to claim the land to make her people safe. Her husband can change into a fierce lion. They thought to raise their son in an isolated place so that he could grow up in safety. Those in need come knocking at their door and it's very hard for Kate and Curran to say no.
