I did not realize that this was a part of a series. That in and of itself doesn't bother me; I have often stumbled into a book that was part of a series, & gone on to read the rest of the books. But this book leaves you hanging - just up in the air. And the teaser for the next book is even worse. I like Cathy Maxwell, enjoy her writing style, but the ending of this book was such a letdown that I sat stunned in my chair for awhile. What a disappointment.
