I really like Barbara Delinsky's books and this one is so good. It centers around the small New England town of Lake Henry and Lily Blake, one of the town's own, who has come home to hide out. Her life has been turned upside down by a ruthless newspaper reporter out to make a name for himself by concocting a story about her and a newly appointed Cardinal of the Catholic church. Lily finds a friend in Lake Henry's newspaper editor and they set out to right the wrong.
