Loved it! The subject matter (1930's circus life) was fascinating. Can't recall every reading a book that delved into this area so thoroughly. Also liked the way it was presented from the old man's recollections. Kind of gave me a "then" and "now" picture of a man with lots of spirit who'd lived a good life by his standards, but was by no means ready to call it quits yet. The ending wrapped it all up perfectly!
