Forever Soul Ties is the first book I've read by Vanessa Davis Griggs. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the main character's personal, spiritual journey. The story centers around Butterly, a married mother of three almost grown children. Butterly is a very spiritual woman who is going through major crisis with her husband Zeke. Butterfly suspects that Zeke has another woman since he is never home, doesn't help out with the house or the kids and seems to have no interest in his wife. When Butterfly reconnects with her childhood love, Ethan, who is now a pastor, she finds herself tempted to fall headlong into an affair. As Butterfly tries to resist temptation she must weight soul ties against her belief in God. Great read.
